Omaheti - Documentary films
The research project "OMAHETI" combined different scientific methods (ethnographic field research, qualitative interviews, institutional surveys, quantitative surveys and economic experiments). On this basis, two documentary films were developed. The films were produced together with Dr. Dorothee Hemme and the team of the Flash film production (Cologne). The films tell stories of special mastery and innovation of craftsmen, which are based on the fact that head and hands work together finely coordinated.
The two documentary films are now available online on the YouTube channel of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen:
